Collins Ogbeifun

Collins Ogbeifun has an extensive work experience history. Collins started their career as a Credit Risk Officer at IBTC Chartered Bank in 2007, where they analyzed financing requests and prepared approval memos. Collins also ensured credit compliance and supported functions to meet the bank's credit policy and regulatory framework.

From 2011 to 2014, Collins worked at Stanbic IBTC as a Team Lead in Personal Recoveries. Collins was responsible for prompt recovery action on a 4.2 billion NPL portfolio, achieving an average monthly recovery ratio of 3.5% in the first year.

In 2014, they became the Credit Evaluation Manager at Stanbic IBTC, where they reviewed the credit approval process and ensured timely evaluation of personal credit applications according to set criteria.

At PathCare from 2017 to 2018, Collins served as a Credit Control Manager. Collins coordinated and managed the credit control team to achieve collection targets and developed credit policies aligned with the organization's goals.

At Renmoney, Collins held various roles. From 2019 to 2020, they were the Recovery Manager, leading the activities of the Recovery arm of the credit risk department. Collins ran reports, analyzed data, implemented strategies to improve team performance, and recruited and trained staff members.

Currently, at Renmoney, Collins is the Head of Collections & Recovery, responsible for driving innovative processes in managing and collecting on accounts. Collins focuses on achieving cash collections targets, particularly on impairments.

Collins Ogbeifun obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Environmental Science from the University of Benin, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Currently, they are enrolled in the Senior Management Program (SMP 85) at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, with an expected graduation in 2023.

In addition to their degrees, Collins Ogbeifun holds a certification in Microfinance from The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), which they obtained in August 2022. Collins also has a certification in Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services (WES), acquired in September 2019.
