Martin Williams

Martin Williams is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management and engineering across multiple sectors. Currently serving as the Quality Manager for Couplings at Renold PLC, Martin is responsible for overall quality accountability and has successfully implemented a quality improvement program, achieving zero non-conformances in external audits. As Director of Williams General Limited Engineering, Martin leads bespoke design and build projects. Previous roles include Process Improvement Engineer at Metro Supply Chain, where Martin established an ISO9001 Business Management System, and Business System Engineer at Gestamp, orchestrating the transition to IATF automotive standards. Martin's career began at Haydale, where contributions as Technical Manager and SHEQ Manager included driving technical activities during the company's IPO and maintaining exemplary safety records. With a strong educational background in materials engineering and recycling technology from Swansea University, Martin holds an MPhil, MRes, and BEng degree.
