Valerie Myers

Valerie Myers, Ph.D., is the Director of Preclinical Science at Renovacor. Dr. Myers has over 10 years of experience researching signaling in heart failure. Most recently she has focused on mutations in BAG3, their contribution to adverse outcomes in individuals with heart failure, and the use of BAG3 gene therapy in animal models of heart failure.

Dr. Myers completed her doctorate in Organ Systems and Translational Medicine at Temple University. She received an MS in Cell and Developmental Biology from Thomas Jefferson University and a BS from Pennsylvania State University.
