Dr Augustin Ndiaye M.D.

Clinical Development Lead at Alvotech

Dr. Augustin Ndiaye MD., MSc CT., MSc VACC has extensive work experience in the medical and clinical research field. Starting in 2011, they worked as a Clinical Trial Manager/Coordinator at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. In 2012, they also served as an Investigator for the International Centres of Excellence for Malaria Research in Senegal.

From 2013 to 2014, Dr. Ndiaye was a Master fellow in vaccinology and pharmaceutical clinical development at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research. During this time, they also worked as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Clinical Vaccinology and Tropical Medicine at the University of Oxford.

In 2014, they completed an internship at the Siena University Infectious Diseases Department. Dr Augustin then joined the Medical Research Council in 2015 as a Clinical Trial Coordinator.

In 2016, Dr. Ndiaye joined GSK as a Project Physician, and later in 2019, they became an Associate Medical Director at Takeda. In their most recent role, Dr. Ndiaye serves as a Clinical Development Lead at Alvotech, starting in 2021.

Additionally, Dr. Ndiaye is actively involved in charity work as the President of Association Premier-Né, a Christian charity organization aimed at helping disadvantaged children and communities.

Dr. Augustin NDIAYE MD.,MSc CT.,MSc VACC has a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Université Cheikh Anta Diop Dakar. Dr Augustin also has a Master's degree in Vaccinology and Pharmaceutical Clinical Development from Università degli Studi di Siena. Additionally, they have a Master of Sciences degree in clinical trials from the University of Ghana. Dr. NDIAYE has obtained several certifications including Good Clinical Practice Trainer from the Royal College of Physicians, Basics of Health Economics from The World Bank Institute, and a Certificate in Applying Good Clinical Practice in developing countries from Vienna School of Clinical Research, Austria.
