John Loercher

John Loercher currently serves as the Director of the Building Science Program and Lecturer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, teaching courses such as Environmental and Ecological Systems and Integrated Design Development Studio since January 2020. As the Owner and Consultant of Northeast Projects LLC and a Certification Staff/CPHC Trainer at Passive House Institute US, engagement in sustainable building practices is evident. Previous experience includes roles as Project Manager at Digifabshop, Designer at Lewis Tsurumaki Lewis Architects, and teaching positions at The New School. John Loercher holds a Master of Architecture from The New School and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in Art History from the University at Buffalo.
