Chiamaka Kalu

Chiamaka Kalu, MBA, currently serves as Director of Operations at Rent The Runway since September 2022, supervising a substantial team including 3 Operations Managers and 100+ Hourly Associates while emphasizing safety and operational excellence. Previously, Kalu held various management roles at Amazon from July 2020 to August 2022, where responsibilities included leading teams, enhancing safety and performance, and ensuring quality customer experiences. Experience also includes several managerial positions at Caterpillar Inc. from July 2017 to June 2020, focusing on warehouse operations and process improvements, as well as an engineering co-op at Ford Motor Company from January 2014 to March 2017, supporting new model launch activities. Kalu holds an MBA in Management from the University of Houston-Victoria, a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, and an Associate's degree in Math and Science from Washtenaw Community College.
