Andrew Shoemaker

Andrew Shoemaker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Andrew started their career as a Music Director at WUAG 103.1 FM - UNC Greensboro from May 2003 to May 2004. In 2004, they worked as a Barista at Starbucks Coffee Company until March 2009. From June 2010 to August 2010, they worked as a QA Assistant/Proofreader at Clarity Staffing, LLC, specifically for Barnesandnoble.com. Andrew then worked as a Studio Intern at Shout It Out Loud Music / Company X Edit from August 2010 to December 2010.

In 2011, Andrew joined Sideways Inc where they worked as a Community Manager from July 2011 to December 2012. Andrew then moved to Main Street Hub in January 2013 and held the position of Community Manager until April 2016. From April 2016 to November 2016, they worked as a Senior Community Manager at Main Street Hub. Andrew later transitioned to the role of Copywriter, establishing brand attributes and tone for new clients, writing bios for clients' social media sites, and concepting sample content to guide the community management team. This role lasted from November 2016 to June 2017.

In 2017, Andrew joined Easy Media® as an Assistant Team Lead, Social Media & Reputation. Andrew worked in this role until September 2018. Currently, they are a Manager, Product Operations at Rent, where they manage a team of content writers, measures KPIs, coaches writers on quality and efficiency, addresses client escalations, and drives the team towards internal goals and client SLAs.

Andrew Shoemaker received a Bachelor's Degree in English with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they attended from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro from 2001 to 2004, although no specific degree or field of study was provided. In addition to their formal education, Andrew obtained a certification as a Certified Customer Success Manager (CCSM) Level 1 from SuccessHACKER in April 2021.
