Gennady Bortnikov

Gennady Bortnikov has over 19 years of experience in Quality Assurance. Gennady began their career as a QA Analyst/Senior QA Analyst at Top Producer Systems in 2001. In 2006, they moved to Riptown as a QA Team Lead/Senior Analyst, where they created reporting metrics and automated regression testing using Selenium. In 2007, they joined Fiver Media as Load Test Automation Team Lead/Developer, where they reported to the Director of Development and stakeholders, and was responsible for leading the Load Test Automation team. In 2008, they joined Global Relay as Manager, Quality Assurance, where they started up the Quality Assurance department and grew the QA team from 3 members to over 70 QA staff by 2017. In 2017, they joined Xera One Technologies Inc. as Director, Quality Assurance, where they scaled up the size and structure of the Quality Engineering department and designed, managed and maintained all Quality Engineering practices, standards, methodologies and metrics. Currently, they are the Director, Quality Assurance at RentMoola, where they implement and oversees a Quality Assurance practice with focus on test strategies and their execution.

Gennady Bortnikov attended Douglas College from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a CISY degree.
