Maria García-Matamoros

Maria García-Matamoros currently serves as the Europe EHS & Sustainability Director at Rentokil Initial, where strategic thinking and hands-on implementation of EHS solutions drive business value. Previous roles include leading Health & Safety and Business Continuity Management at DHL Supply Chain, guiding EHS strategy for Ingersoll Rand across EMEIA regions, and providing HSEQ advisory services at ERM. Maria's foundational experience includes working as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist at MAPFRE and contributing to environmental management projects at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Maria holds a Licenciatura in Environmental Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, an MSc in Occupational Health and Safety Management from Universidad CEU San Pablo, and numerous certifications, including a NEBOSH International General Certificate.
