Ingo Janzen

Ingo Janzen has a diverse work experience in the field of UX/UI design and product development. Ingo is currently working as a Product Design Director at RentSpree, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance as a CX/UX Research & Design Manager from December 2020 to June 2023.

In 2019 and 2020, Ingo worked at Singapore Airlines as a Principal UX Strategist, specializing in design thinking consulting. Before that, in 2018, they were self-employed, providing UX/UI design services to small startups and large corporate organizations, focusing on user-centric product improvements.

From 2016 to 2018, Ingo worked at Aleph-Labs as a Lead UX/UI Designer, contributing their expertise to projects with clients like BNP Paribas WMIS and Muang Thai Life Assurance. In 2016, they also briefly served as a Senior UX/UI Designer at Aleph-Labs.

Ingo's work experience also includes serving as a Design Lead at CareCube® from 2014 to 2016, where they led design efforts. Ingo also worked as a Senior UI/UX Designer at ZOO group from 2013 to 2014, specializing in interaction design and collaborating with project members to create concept models, prototypes, and detailed specifications for mobile and social applications.

In 2011 and 2013, Ingo worked at Ingo Janzen Experience Design as a Senior UX/UI Designer. Prior to that, they worked at ressourcenmangel GmbH as an Art Director Digital - UI/UX from 2009 to 2011, managing design teams and prioritizing design tasks. Ingo also briefly served as a UX/UI Designer at ressourcenmangel GmbH in 2009.

Ingo's early work experience includes working as a Graphic Designer Digital & Print at publicgarden GmbH from 2007 to 2009, where they specialized in both print and web/interactive design.

Ingo Janzen received their education from 2004 to 2007 at Mediadesign University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Diplom-Designer (FH) degree in Communication Design. In addition to their formal education, Ingo has also obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they acquired the certification of Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org. In 2019, they completed a certification in Human-Centered Service Design from IDEO U. Recently, in 2023, Ingo obtained two more certifications: Leading for Creativity from IDEO U and Leadership Speaking Core (LSC) from The Leadership Speaking School.
