Matthew Briggs

Matthew Briggs has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2000, they founded 700Credit and served as a founder until 2009. Subsequently, from 2004 to 2017, they founded and served as the CEO of ScreeningOne, a provider of innovative solutions for Human Resources Professionals. In 2013, they founded ApplicantOne, a recruiting and hiring platform. In 2014, Briggs founded RentTrack, a company focused on simplifying rent payment and helping consumers build credit. In 2019, they founded LevelCredit, formerly known as RentTrack, a consumer data reporting company that offers credit-building services. Currently, they are working at Self Financial, Inc. as the Executive Vice President Strategy since 2022. Additionally, Briggs is a Board Member at Credit Bureau Connection since 2022.

Matthew Briggs attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences. In 1997, they briefly attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, specializing in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering.
