Yongzhi Chen

Yongzhi Chen began their work experience as a Teaching Assistant at McGill University in 2012. Yongzhi then worked as a Research Assistant at the same university from 2012 to 2014. Following that, they worked as a Programmer at Centre universitaire de santé McGill (CUSM) | McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) from 2014 to 2015, where they focused on backend development and knowledge extraction. In 2015, they joined REOL Services as a Front End Developer, later becoming the Frontend Team Lead in 2017. Yongzhi developed mobile-friendly websites and native apps using React and React-Native. Lastly, they are currently working at Bandsintown Group, starting as a Frontend Developer in 2019 and now serving as a Tech Lead since March 2021.

Yongzhi Chen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. Yongzhi then went on to complete a Master's Degree in Computer Science at McGill University from 2011 to 2014. In 2009, they also briefly attended the University of Ottawa, although no degree or field of study information was provided for that period.
