Alex Frio has a wide range of work experience in international sales and operations.
Starting in 1996, Alex worked as a Trade Specialist for the California Trade and Commerce Agency in Mexico City. From there, Alex moved on to Gateway Partners as a Research Associate before joining Callaway Golf Company in 2000. At Callaway, Alex held multiple roles, including International Sales and Operations Coordinator and later International Sales Manager.
In 2005, Alex transitioned to Leatherman Tool Group, where they served as an International Account Executive and eventually became a Regional Sales Manager for the international market.
In 2011, Alex joined LaCrosse Footwear Incorporated as the Director of International Sales, overseeing sales development outside of the US and Canada. Afterward, Alex joined Nite Ize: Innovative Products in 2012, where they worked as the Director of International Sales, managing sales and brand development in the APAC, EMEA, and LATAM regions.
Following their tenure at Nite Ize, Alex joined Funko in 2020 as the Sr. Director of International Sales and was responsible for international sales strategies.
Currently, Alex holds the position of Director of International Strategy and Operations at Rep Fitness, a role they started in 2022.
Alex Frio's education history begins in 1990 when they attended Jesuit High School. They then went on to San Diego State University, where they studied Business Management and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1996. In 2008, Alex enrolled at the University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business and completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2010.
