Julia Malaga

Julia Malaga has extensive work experience in finance and operations. Julia currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Repair the World since April 2023. Previously, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Golda Och Academy from August 2005 to March 2023. Before that, they worked as the Director of Finance at Friends of the Family from April 2004 to June 2005. Julia also worked as the Assistant Executive Director for Business Services at Board of Child Care from October 1998 to April 2004. Prior to that, they held the position of Finance Manager at Inova Health System from May 1997 to October 1998. Julia started their career as a Hospital Financial Analyst at George Washington University, where they worked from 1991 to 1997.

Julia Malaga pursued their education chronologically, first attending American University from 1987 to 1991. There, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree, specializing in Sociology and Political Science. Following this, Julia went on to study at The George Washington University School of Business from 1991 to 1996. Julia obtained a Master's degree in Health Services Administration (MHSA) with a focus on Finance.
