Jordan Young

Senior Director - Oncology Discovery at Repare Therapeutics

Jordan Young has extensive work experience in the field of oncology discovery. Jordan started their career at Mount Sinai Hospital / Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute as a Post-Doctoral Fellow from June 2016 to July 2017. Jordan then moved on to Repare Therapeutics, where they held various roles. Jordan initially joined as a Senior Scientist I from July 2017 to December 2017, then progressed to Senior Scientist II from January 2018 to June 2019. Subsequently, they were promoted to Associate Director - Oncology Discovery, a role they held from June 2019 to January 2021. Currently, Jordan is working at Repare Therapeutics as the Director - Oncology Discovery, a position they have been holding since January 2021.

Jordan Young completed their education in chronological order. From 2003 to 2007, they attended the University of Waterloo, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology. Following this, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular Genetics from the University of Waterloo, studying from 2007 to 2009. Their academic journey continued at the University of Toronto from 2009 to 2016, where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular Genetics.
