Stephen Morris

Stephen Morris has extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Stephen currently holds the position of Vice President, Cancer Biology at Repare Therapeutics since July 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Alliance Manager at Repare Therapeutics starting from February 2019.

Before joining Repare Therapeutics, Stephen was the Founder of SJM Biosciences Inc. in June 2017. Stephen played a crucial role in leading biology research activities at Aegera Therapeutics, where they served as the Director of Biology from 2008 to 2011 and as the Associate Director of Biology from 2002 to 2008.

In addition, Stephen also held the position of Senior Director of Research and Innovative Drug Development at Pharmascience from December 2011 to June 2017. In this role, they led various research activities, including biology, bioanalytical, and medicinal chemistry, as well as coordinated IND-qualifying studies and served as the scientific lead for business development out-licensing.

Stephen Morris completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from McGill University from 1983 to 1987. Stephen then pursued their Ph.D. in Biochemistry, specializing in the same field of study, at Dalhousie University from 1987 to 1993.
