Yi Xu

Yi Xu has a diverse work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. They currently hold the position of Executive Director, Biometrics at Repare Therapeutics since October 2021. Prior to that, from September 2019 to September 2021, they worked as a Senior Director, Biometrics at Xenon Pharmaceuticals Inc.

From January 2011 to August 2019, Yi Xu served as a Senior Director, Biostatistics at Sanofi. Before that, they held the role of Director, Biometrics at Dendreon from October 2006 to January 2011, where they led the successful BLA submission of Sipuleucel-T, an immunotherapy for prostate cancer treatment, and attended relevant FDA meetings.

Yi Xu's earlier experiences include working as Director, Biostatistics and Programming at Valeant from May 2003 to October 2006, Statistical Project Lead at Pfizer from 2000 to 2003, and Senior Statistician at Abbott from May 1995 to 2000. At Abbott, they worked on successful NDAs for HIV protease inhibitors and participated in FDA advisory meeting preparation.

Yi Xu obtained a Master's degree in Mathematical Statistics and Probability from Fudan University. Following this, from 1991 to 1995, Xu pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
