Mathis Wackernagel is a Board Member at rePLANET, a newly established corporation focused on ecological restoration through private sector funding. Mathis is also a Board Member at FoDaFo, a collaboration between Global Footprint Network and York University, aiming to expand its reach and impact. As a Co-Founder of Global Footprint Network, Mathis promotes the use of the Ecological Footprint as a resource accounting tool. With a background in sustainability and a PhD in Community and Regional Planning, Mathis brings a wealth of experience in environmental conservation and resource management.
