Brian Parr

Brian Parr has over 20 years of experience in the field of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and data management. Brian is currently employed at Replica as the VP of Data Management & Procurement. Prior to this, they worked at The Kansas City Southern Railway Company as the Manager of GIS Development & Support. Brian has also held roles at mySidewalk by MindMixer as a Geospatial Project Developer, KC Mapping & GIS as the Owner, Mid-America Regional Council as the GIS Manager, and Esri as a Project Manager and Education Specialist. Brian began their career as a GIS Coordinator at the City of Manhattan, KS. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in regional imagery acquisition, 9-1-1 mapping, homeland security, land use forecasting, and regional data sharing.

Brian Parr holds a M.A. degree in Geography, which they earned from Kansas State University between the years 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. degree in Sociology from Kansas State University, completing their undergraduate studies from 1989 to 1994.
