Michael Ehlers

Co-Founder and Board Chair at Replicate Bioscience

Michael Ehlers has a long and distinguished career in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Michael began their career in 1998 as a Professor of Neurobiology at Duke University. In 2005, they became an Investigator at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. From 2010 to 2016, they held various Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer roles at Pfizer. In 2016, they became Executive Vice President at Biogen. In 2019, they were appointed Chief Executive Officer at Limelight Bio and Chief Scientific Officer and Venture Partner at Apple Tree Partners. In 2020, they founded and became Board Chair of Aulos Bioscience and Founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Intergalactic Therapeutics and Ascidian Therapeutics. In 2021, they became Co-Founder and Board Chair of Replicate Bioscience, Inc.

Michael Ehlers attended The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 1991 to 1998, where they earned an MD and PhD in Medicine and Neuroscience.
