Hacker In Residence at Replicate

Jesse Andrews has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Cloud Whisperer at Replicate. Prior to that, they worked at Planet, where they held various positions including Mentor & Advisor, Fellow, SVP Platform, and VP Product Development. Jesse also co-founded OpenStack and played a key role in the creation and development of the Nova Compute project. Jesse was also the Co-Founder & Owner of Userscripts.org, where they developed and scaled the popular greasemonkey community site. Jesse held the position of VP of Product at Nebula, Inc. and Director of Development for Cloud Builders at Rackspace Hosting. Before that, Jesse co-founded Anso Labs, where they served as CEO and focused on open source cloud software. Jesse also worked as Nebula Chief Architect at NASA Ames Research Center and as VP of Engineering at A Large Corporation, Inc. Jesse's earlier work includes being a Fellow at CommerceNet, where they focused on open-source web technologies and web security.

Jesse Andrews completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Berea College, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Kentucky, graduating in 2005.
