Craig O'Donnell

Craig O'Donnell has over 6 years of professional experience in software engineering and transportation technology development. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a Traffic Intern at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, where they executed field work and design for statewide horizontal curve and median crossover safety studies, performed data collection for traffic impact studies, and created full detour plans for an interchange design. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at VHB as a Transportation Technology Developer, where they developed enterprise web applications within the company’s Applied Technology group and created workflow solutions for internal engineering teams. Craig also developed a full-stack web application suite for the New York State Department of Transportation to replace legacy systems and created a proprietary transit microsimulation software that is used for planning-level analyses for trains, buses, and streetcars. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Replicated.

Craig O'Donnell obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware between 2012 and 2016. In 2016, they obtained the Fundamentals of Engineering (EIT) certification from the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers. In 2017, they obtained the Apple Certified Pro - Logic Pro X 10.3 certification from Apple. In 2020, they obtained the Blockchain Basics certification from the University At Buffalo and The State University of New York | Coursera.
