David Reed Fox has several years of experience in operations and editorial management. From 2019, they served as the Director of Operations at Report for America. Prior to that, they worked at Consumer Reports from 2003, holding roles such as Director of Content Operations and Director of Editorial Operations. In these positions, they oversaw the final preparation and publication of editorial content, managed implementation of new content management systems, and launched initiatives to improve editorial processes and efficiency.
David Reed Fox holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Chicago. David also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature from Binghamton University. Report for America is a national service program that places talented emerging journalists in local news rooms to report on under-covered topics and communities. Launched in Fall 2017 and donor-financed, Report for America is creating a new, sustainable system that provides Americans with the information they need to improve their communities, hold powerful institutions accountable, and rebuild trust in the media. Report for America is an initiative of The GroundTruth Project, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. GroundTruth is an award-winning nonprofit media organization with an established track record of training and supporting teams of emerging journalists around the world and in the United States.
