Brandon Griffin is currently a Business Intelligence Analyst at Reposite and a Data Analyst at Berkeley Lab. Previously, they were a Data Science Apprentice at General Assembly, where they worked on democratizing Autonomous Vehicle R&D, built a log-level regression model to predict the sales price of real-estate, and used transfer learning for binary classification in Google Colab. Griffin also previously held roles as a Laboratory Affiliate - Chemical Sciences Division at Berkeley Lab, a Research Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), a Research Assistant - Atomic Molecular and Optical Science Group and a Graduate Teaching Assistant - Physics Department at the Nevada System of Higher Education, a Visiting Research Scientist at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, and a Visiting Research Scientist at Synchrotron SOLEIL.
Brandon Griffin obtained a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Minor in Mathematics from the same university in 2014. Brandon also holds several certifications, including SQL (Intermediate) from HackerRank (obtained in October 2021), Advanced SQL for Data Scientists (2017) from LinkedIn (obtained in June 2021), a Data Science Immersive course from General Assembly (obtained in December 2020), and a Python 3 Tutorial from SoloLearn (obtained in June 2020).
