Ladislav Marsik

Ladislav Marsik has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2019. Ladislav began their career as a Student Manager and Sales Representative for Southwestern Advantage, where they were responsible for recruiting, training, and leading Slovak students in the program. Ladislav made over 200 presentations and conducted 70 interviews in Slovakia. In 2014, they worked as an Independent Freelancer, specializing in web development and designing web applications tailored to customer needs. In 2015, they joined La Familia Salsa Band as a Band Director, where they played Cuban Salsa and Dominican Bachata, composed songs, created sheet music, and managed rehearsals and sound. Ladislav also worked as a Software Engineer for Represent.com, a platform that allows individuals to design and monetize custom apparel, working with high-profile celebrities to raise funds for charitable causes. Currently, Ladislav is employed as a Software Engineer at Custom Ink.

Ladislav Marsik completed their education in three notable institutions. Ladislav first pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Comenius University in Bratislava from 2007 to 2013. Following this, they furthered their studies at Université de Bordeaux in 2012-2013, focusing on Software Engineering. Finally, Ladislav attended Charles University where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Software Systems, completing their studies in 2019.
