Uzo Akotaobi has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several roles and industries. They most recently worked as the Head of People at Biarri Networks and Digital & Services (Dura-line), where they utilized data and predictive modeling to support various sectors. Prior to that, Uzo held the position of VP of People at Reprise, a remote company specializing in demo creation platforms. They also served as the Head of People and Inclusion & Diversity at Glowforge, a prominent 3D laser printer manufacturer. Uzo's experience extends to the real estate industry, as they were the Vice President of Human Resources at Prologis, overseeing an HR team and implementing global DEI strategies. At Comcast, Uzo led HR strategy for both the Technology and Sales Advertising divisions. They also served as a Senior Manager of Human Resources at zulily, a rapidly growing tech start-up. Uzo started their career as an Account Manager and Human Capital Consultant at TriNet, followed by roles at Specialized Loan Servicing LLC and Car Toys. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Operations Manager at Jake's Unlimited. Throughout their career, Uzo has demonstrated their expertise in HR strategy, team management, and program development.

Uzo Akotaobi holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Development from Villanova University, which was completed from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree at Hastings College from 2002 to 2006, with a triple major in Human Resource Management, Human Service Administration, and Sociology. Additionally, Uzo Akotaobi has obtained several certifications, including Prosci Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in 2019, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from SmartPath LLC in 2014, Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from HRCI in 2009, and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM in 2015.
