Lan Anh Nguyen

Lan Anh Nguyen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Repsol since March 2019, Lan Anh oversees seven upstream projects for Talisman Energy Inc in Vietnam and played a key role in negotiations with PetroVietnam regarding the Ca Rong Do project. Previously, as Country Legal Counsel for NS BlueScope, responsibilities included managing legal and compliance issues across three entities in Vietnam. Lan Anh's career also encompasses significant roles as a Legal Advisor for Bien Dong POC on major gas development projects, and as Senior Legal and Procurement Specialist for Thang Long JOC in billion-dollar oil exploration initiatives. Early professional experience includes leadership of the legal team for PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation's asset management and roles at Baker McKenzie and LuatViet Advocates & Solicitors. Lan Anh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Oxford and a Master of Laws focusing on Intellectual Property, Commercial Arbitration, International Trade Law, and Marine Insurance from the University of London.
