Merri Hope Thompson

Merri Hope Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 1995, they worked as a Teacher/Program Director at The Dunham School until 2010. Merri Hope then served as a Law Clerk at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in 2012, gaining experience in both domestic and non-domestic divisions. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as an Associate at Jones Walker LLP. Their most recent position was as a Regulatory Compliance Analyst at Republic Finance from 2015 to 2022, where they later became the VP of Legal & Compliance.

Merri Hope Thompson completed a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from LSU Law from 2010 to 2013. Merri Hope also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Education from Louisiana State University. Additionally, they pursued a J.D./D.C.L. degree with a focus on Law at Louisiana State University.
