Francis Mitchell

Francis Mitchell has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Francis most recently served as Treasurer & Chief Investment Officer at Republic Bank, where they were responsible for overseeing investment strategies and managing the bank's funds. Prior to that, they worked at Truist as Director - Fixed Income & Depository Strategies, where they partnered with depository clients to support their long-term balance sheet goals. Before that, Mitchell was SVP / Strategic Finance at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, where they played a key role in improving earnings, strengthening risk management, and executing strategic planning. Francis also held positions at Webster Bank as a Senior Portfolio Manager / Treasury Specialist, where they managed a significant portion of the investment portfolio and implemented new strategies and regulatory changes. Mitchell began their career as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at TD, where they co-managed a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. Francis started their financial career at Vanguard as a Credit Trader.

Francis Mitchell pursued their primary education at Drexel University from 2000 to 2004. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual concentration in Accounting and Finance. Francis then went on to pursue an International MBA from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained a Masters of Financial Engineering (MSFE) degree from the Fox School of Business at Temple University from 2014 to 2016.
