Rich Gnesda

Rich Gnesda currently serves as Controls and Electrical Reliability Manager at Republic Steel since September 2021. Prior to this role, Gnesda worked at Special Metals as an Area Supervision / Process Engineer, overseeing workforce management and process improvements, and served as Interim Director of Maintenance and Maintenance Manager. Gnesda's experience also includes a managerial position in a continuous rolling mill at Carpenter Technology Corporation, where responsibilities involved budgeting and production scheduling, and roles as Electrical Reliability Engineer and Area Maintenance Manager. Earlier work history includes positions at NRG Energy, The Timken Company, Aerotech, Inc., and the National Security Agency, encompassing various electrical and engineering tasks. Gnesda holds an Associate degree in Electronics from Penn Technical Institute and pursued studies in Mathematics and Computer Science at Saint Vincent College.
