Mike Williams

Mike Williams has extensive experience in both the political and technical fields. Since November 2020, Mike has served as a member of the Louisiana Republican State Central Committee. Prior to this role, Mike enjoyed a long career at Entergy, where Mike worked from August 1989 until April 2020, ultimately retiring as a Senior Engineer focused on Nuclear Preventive Maintenance. Throughout Mike's tenure at Entergy, Mike held various IT and engineering positions, including project management and software engineering roles that involved developing applications with PowerBuilder and managing Oracle databases. Mike's earlier experience includes programming at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, specializing in IBM COBOL, IMS, and CICS. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Louisiana State University, earned from 1979 to 1985.
