Kashif Nawaz Alam

Kashif Nawaz Alam has extensive experience in quality assurance, with a focus on the food and beverage industry. Kashif Nawaz began their career as a Technical Trainee at Nestle Bangladesh Limited in 2008, before moving on to work as an Officer of Quality System at GlaxoSmithKline in 2009. Kashif then returned to Nestle Bangladesh as a Quality Assurance Officer in 2010, eventually progressing to the role of Senior Quality Assurance Officer in 2012. In 2015, they became an Executive of Quality Assurance at Nestle Bangladesh, a position they held until 2016.

In 2017, Kashif joined Nestlé Malaysia as an Executive of Quality System, and in 2018, they moved to Nestle Lanka plc, where they worked as an Assistant Manager of Quality Assurance until 2019. Kashif Nawaz rejoined Nestle Bangladesh in 2019 as a Manager of Quality Assurance, a role they held until 2019. Most recently, they worked at Nestle India Limited as a Manager of Quality Assurance from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, Kashif joined Nestle Bangladesh once again, this time taking on the role of Head of Quality Assurance.

Kashif Nawaz Alam completed their secondary education at Collegiate School, Chittagong from 1993 to 1998, where they focused on science. Kashif Nawaz then pursued their Higher Secondary School Certificate at Chittagong College from 1998 to 2000, also specializing in science. Continuing their education, Kashif attended the University of Chittagong from 2001 to 2007, earning both their Hons and Masters degrees in Microbiology. In addition to their formal education, Kashif obtained certifications including the Assessor Training Course on Testing & Calibration Laboratories ISO/IEC 17025:2005 from Norwegian Accreditation and Bangladesh Accreditation Board in June 2014. Kashif Nawaz also completed an Application training on Atomic Absorption Spectrometers (AAS) and other awareness and understanding courses related to standards and auditing.
