Jared Workman

Jared Workman is an experienced professional in high-performance computing and physics education, currently serving as HPC Engineering Manager at Rescale since August 2019, overseeing a vast software portfolio of over 1100 products. Prior roles include HPC Engineer, where responsibilities included software installation and optimization on various cloud platforms, and tenured Associate Professor of Physics at Colorado Mesa University, where Jared designed and maintained high-performance servers for research and student training. Previous experience also includes positions as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the University of Rochester, where research focused on solar flare simulations, and multiple research and teaching assistant roles at prominent institutions such as the University of Colorado and Temple University. Jared holds a PhD and MS in Astrophysics from the University of Colorado Boulder, a BS in Physics and Mathematics from Temple University, and a BA in Psychology from the same institution.
