Daniel Wertz

Dan Wertz has over a decade of experience in information technology, currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at Resco Products, Inc. since March 2012. In this role, Dan is responsible for strategic IT planning, IT security, and managing an IT budget exceeding $1 million. Dan established a comprehensive cybersecurity framework that surpasses the Top 18 CIS Critical Security Controls. Prior to this, Dan worked as a Technical Support Engineer at Kontron, handling complex technical support cases for processor boards and switch configurations. Dan began their career as a Networking Specialist and Insurance Agent at Ed Herrle Agency, Inc., where responsibilities included designing network infrastructure and providing desktop support. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix and an Associate in Science in Information Technology - Networking from the Community College of Allegheny County.
