Joseph Blanco

Owner and Principle Joseph Blanco established RESCUE Green in 2005 to meet a need in the construction industry that was growing in popularity: sustainable design and construction. With more than 15 years of construction and real estate experience, Joseph Blanco has always been passionate about what the construction industry has offered him. After graduating from the University of California Irvine with a degree in Social Ecology and Business Management, he focused on a service that was not only providing a quality product but a product that is Socially and Environmentally responsible. Joseph Blanco firmly believes he can never stop learning and growing to be competitive in this industry. Technology, building codes, energy and clients are constantly evolving. To meet these industry needs, not only is Joseph Blanco a licensed general B contractor and real estate broker, but his certified and licensed as a home energy rater by Calcerts, building performance contractor by Building Performance Institute, certified green building professional from Build It Green and LEED accredited professional from the US Green Building Council.
