Rachel D.

Rachel D. has extensive experience in scientific research and support, currently serving as a Scientific Support Specialist and former Research Associate at R&D Systems since April 2008, where responsibilities include developing and launching new Quantikine ELISA products. Prior to this role, Rachel worked as an Analytical Chemist at 3M in early 2008, focusing on data compilation through nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Experience also includes a National Science Foundation Research Intern position at the University of California, Riverside, where Rachel collaborated on research related to breast cancer and Alzheimer’s Disease, and interned at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, studying catheter-cell delivery systems for Parkinson's Disease therapy. Additional internships at St. Olaf College involved researching the role of lipids in membrane permeability. Rachel D. holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from St. Olaf College, completed in 2007.
