Vaia Velli

Vaia Velli is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in scientific research, project management, and quality control. Currently serving as a Scientific Officer at the Ίδρυμα Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας/Research and Innovation Foundation since May 2023, Velli contributes to the design and implementation of funded measures while promoting Cypriot participation in international programs. Previously, Velli held a board member position with Cyprus Girls Can, managing Erasmus+ projects and conducting research. As a Quality Control Officer at A.Mintikkis Farm LTD for several years, Velli specialized in microbiological analyses and data management. Velli also has experience as a lecturer and research assistant, in addition to earlier administrative roles. Educational background includes a Postgraduate degree in Food Science from Northumbria University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
