Tatu Lajunen

Tatu Lajunen is an experienced researcher currently serving as an Academy Research Fellow and Principal Investigator for the GeneCellNano flagship at the Research Council of Finland since November 2020. Lajunen holds dual positions as a Senior Researcher and Principal Investigator at the University of Eastern Finland and the University of Helsinki, focusing on the targeted delivery of biomacromolecules. Previous roles include Assistant Professor at Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences and Researcher/PhD student at the Centre for Drug Research, University of Helsinki, with a focus on liposomal formulation development. Lajunen's academic background includes a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Helsinki and additional studies at Kyoto University and Tokyo University of Pharmacy and Life Sciences, alongside ongoing language studies at Dalarna University.
