Hani Choudhry

Hani Choudhry is an accomplished academic and professional with a diverse range of roles in research, education, and innovation. Currently serving as Vice Governor for Innovation Ecosystem and Vice Governor for Research Grants and National Programs at the Research, Development and Innovation Authority (RDIA) since March 2023, Hani also holds multiple positions at King AbdulAziz University, including Professor, Head of the Cancer Metabolism and Epigenetics Research Unit, and Director of the KAU-Oxford University Centre of Artificial Intelligence for Precision Medicine. Previous experience includes roles as Assistant Deputy Minister for Research and Innovation at the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia and Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, where collaboration with Nobel laureate Sir Peter John Ratcliffe occurred. Hani's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Cancer and Medical Genomics from the University of Oxford, and significant contributions to cancer research and innovation initiatives throughout a distinguished career.
