Mohammed Alotaibi

Mohammed Alotaibi serves as the Acting Head of the Research, Development and Innovation Authority (RDIA) since January 2024, with extensive previous experience at the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) where roles included Deputy Governor of Radio Spectrum and General Manager of Frequency Spectrum. Mohammed has also held significant positions such as Policy Advisor and Technical Leader at the Saudi Space Agency and Lead Policy Advisor for a Government Entity in Saudi Arabia. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as multiple executive education programs from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Kennedy School and MIT. Mohammed's background encompasses a strong focus on spectrum management, public policy analysis, and engineering, complemented by professional experiences in various research and technical roles across different organizations.
