Andra Mihali

Andra Mihali is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc., since April 2019, with a PhD in Neural Science from New York University, obtained in 2018. Prior experience includes working as a researcher at Columbia University Medical Center from 2008 to 2012, where Andra contributed to a project on glutaminase inhibitors in schizophrenia and conducted high-throughput screening assays. From 2007 to 2012, Andra held multiple tutoring and teaching roles at Columbia University, providing assistance in various scientific subjects and volunteering in neuroscience outreach initiatives. Andra also served on the editorial board of the Columbia Undergraduate Science Journal and was involved in photography and science outreach activities throughout the academic tenure at Columbia University. Andra holds a B.A. in Biochemistry with minors in Mathematics and Psychology from Columbia College, Columbia University.
