Andrew Fernando is a seasoned research professional with expertise in finance and user research. Currently serving as Senior Research Manager at Research in Finance since August 2023, Andrew previously held key positions at Capital One as Principal User Researcher and Senior User Researcher from August 2021 to May 2023. Prior experience includes working as Senior Associate at the Financial Conduct Authority, where Andrew led stakeholder engagement on the Financial Lives consumer tracking survey, and as Associate, where Andrew developed consumer insights for decision-making. Andrew's earlier roles include Market Research Executive at Kantar TNS, focusing on various research methodologies, and Labour Market Analyst at the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills during a summer internship. Andrew holds a BSc in Economics from the University of York, completed in 2015, and attended Bury Grammar School Boys from 2005 to 2012.
