Jordan Kiesel

Jordan Kiesel has a diverse work experience in software development roles. Jordan was most recently a Senior Software Engineer at Research Innovations Incorporated, where they started in October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer II at the same company from August 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining Research Innovations Incorporated, Jordan worked at TCG as a Software Developer II from April 2018 to August 2019. In this role, they were the lead developer on a content collaboration tool with 200k users. Jordan created and maintained responsive UI components using Java, JavaScript, AJAX, and templates. Jordan also automated deployments to increase productivity and reliability.

From October 2017 to April 2018, Jordan worked at ALTA IT Services, LLC as a Software Developer II.

Prior to that, they were a Grid Computing Developer at the Laboratory of Molecular Evolution from June 2015 to May 2017. In this role, they rewrote Java code for a new grid computing toolkit and maintained the Linux network, SQL database, and Drupal site.

Jordan's earlier experience includes working at Design Interface Inc as a Software Developer / Junior Technician from May 2013 to August 2014. In this role, they rewrote mikroC code for an International Space Station payload. Jordan also deployed to flight research centers and Air Force bases to integrate, operate, and collect data from instruments.

Jordan Kiesel attended the University of Maryland from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
