Data Scientist I at Research Innovations

Sam Johnson began their work experience in 2016 as a Teaching Assistant at Bethel University, where they were responsible for grading assignments, tutoring students, and leading review sessions for various classes. They also served as a Research Assistant at Bethel University, FermiLab, and CERN, using C and Python to create statistical analyses in the field of particle physics, experimenting with algorithms for signal classification, and working remotely with other physicists. In 2019, they joined Open Systems International as a Software Engineer, converting customer data and databases into OSI's format and gaining experience in managing large code bases and working with diverse databases. In 2021, they worked as a Data Analyst Intern at Seagate Technology, testing the response of a hard drive's head to different conditions. Currently, they are a Data Scientist I at Research Innovations Incorporated.

Sam Johnson has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, which they obtained from Bethel University. Sam attended Bethel from 2016 to 2019. After completing their undergraduate studies, Sam pursued a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Minnesota. Sam attended the University of Minnesota from 2020 to 2022.
