Principal Scientist, Dermatotoxicology at Research Institute for Fragrance Materials, Inc. (RIFM)

Gretchen Ritacco is a seasoned toxicologist with extensive experience in dermatotoxicology and regulatory submissions. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials, Inc. (RIFM) since October 2009, Gretchen manages various toxicological studies and oversees project coordination and safety dossier preparation for regulatory agencies. With previous roles as a Senior Human Health Scientist and Scientist/Project Coordinator at RIFM, Gretchen has contributed to the publication of significant toxicology research and collaborated with international experts. Earlier career highlights include serving as Associate Scientist at Schering-Plough Research Institute, conducting complex studies on pulmonary disorders in primate models, and validation consulting for pharmaceutical companies. Gretchen holds an M.S. in Animal Science from Rutgers University and has furthered education with a HMX Fundamentals certificate in Immunology from Harvard Medical School.
