Amy Barber

Amy Barber is an Occupational Therapist with a strong background in various settings, currently employed at De Soto USD 232 since August 2022 and serving as a PRN Occupational Therapist at Research Psychiatric Center since September 2022. Prior experience includes a role as an Intensive Family Preservation Skill Builder at Paradigm, Inc., where Amy facilitated structured learning sessions aimed at preventing abuse and neglect. Amy has also worked as a Consultative Assessment/Extended Family Home Specialist and ITMS Specialist at OMNI Inventive Care, as well as a Direct Support Professional at Integrated Life Choices. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center (2019-2022) and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, Psychology, and Spanish from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2010-2015).
