Agri-food Systems Lead at Research Triangle Institute

Amanda Rose serves as the Agri-Food Systems Lead at RTI International, focused on enhancing equitable agri-food systems globally through collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Prior to this role, Amanda was an Innovation Advisor at RTI Innovation Advisors, leading initiatives to align innovation investments within global food systems. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Program Officer at The Global Knowledge Initiative, where Amanda supported The Rockefeller Foundation's initiatives aimed at reducing post-harvest food loss in Sub-Saharan Africa. Additional roles include contributions to the Office of the Science Advisor at the U.S. State Department, research consulting for the United Nations Foundation, and program assistance at the AAAS Center for Science, Technology & Security Policy. Amanda holds a Master’s degree in International Science and Technology Policy from The George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Interdisciplinary Studies from North Carolina State University.
