Barbara Debord

Barbara DeBord is an accomplished artist and photographer serving as the Artist/Owner of Sanctuaryist - Artful Photography since April 2016. Concurrently, Barbara works as a Field Interviewer at RTI International, conducting fieldwork for survey research projects. Previous experience includes serving as a Special Investigator with T5 Clearance at Perspecta, managing background investigations for national security. Barbara also held various positions at CareerSource Suncoast, including Business Development Coordinator and Regional Training Coordinator, where responsibilities ranged from market research to workshop facilitation. Early career roles included Director of Tourism for the Smyth County Tourism Association and Community Program Specialist III for the County of San Mateo Behavioral Health and Recovery Services Division. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design from Radford University and has pursued further education in Instructional Design.
