Ben Dalton is a Senior Education Researcher at RTI International, a position held since July 2006, where responsibilities include analyzing education trends and reforms using various data sources, as well as designing and implementing education surveys and evaluations. Prior experience includes serving as an Education Researcher at the American Institutes for Research from May 2004 to June 2006, providing critical support to the National Center for Education Statistics in areas such as the Elementary and Secondary Studies Program and the Common Core of Data. Ben Dalton holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology from Duke University, received in 2004, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from Roanoke College, obtained in 1997.
