Elizabeth Davies Mercier

Elizabeth (Betsy) Davies Mercier is a seasoned education researcher with extensive experience at SRI International since 2002. Currently serving as a Senior Education Researcher, Mercier leads evaluations for initiatives such as the national Center for IDEA Early Childhood Data Systems and the Center on Positive Behavioral Supports & Interventions. Previous roles include overseeing the dissemination of evaluation findings for public health and education programs and managing a significant annual report for the Statewide Evaluation of First 5 California. Notably, Mercier's early career included consulting for the PricewaterhouseCoopers Survey Research Center and research assistance at Westat. Mercier holds a BA in Psychology from Bates College and a Ph.D. in Applied Social Psychology from The George Washington University.
